Presented in 2019, Ser Lapo introduces an element of discontinuity in the IVV blown glass tradition. Innovating, to confirm a primacy in the production of blown glasses colored in the mass. Compared to the families that preceded it, they are characterized by a greater thickness and an optic that is a reference to the Florentine ashlar style, which features the facades of many Florentine Renaissance’s palaces. The grip is material and full, the contact in the mouth is pleasant. Suitable for informal occasions – both everyday life and lunches in the garden with friends – but in the bronze grey and peacock green colors they can also be used for creative set-ups in elegant dinners.
