MENHIR XXL VASE H. 60 CM. BRONZE GREY

Menhir XXL comes from a 5 kg. glass ball, taken by the master glassmaker from the oven at a temperature of 1,400 degrees centigrade. Nothing at that moment, if not the confidence of its creator in its abilities, can say what it will become. It is an arduous undertaking, which requires strength, experience and craftsmanship skill, because what makes it unique is that the small and very heavy glass ball, without the help of a mold, will become a vase of the height of about 60 cm. only thanks to the work of a human being. For this reason, no piece can ever be the same as the other, because it brings with it the fantastic imprecision of the handmade object. Menhir XXL was produced in five pieces only, in 1983, on request of a Russian businessman. IVV has decided to put it back into production in a limited and numbered edition, adding the bronze grey version to the original amber one.
